Mom on Monday Morning

They moved Mom out of the ICU this morning!
This is her new room, #209 in the intermediate/critical care wing.  She is much more talkative today.  At least when she didn't have pain meds recently pumped into her.  She asked about Timothy, when I got back from Houston, if she was in the public part of the hospital.
They got her up a couple of times this morning to walk around.

Mom asked if she still had a black eye.  She wanted to see so I took this picture to show her.  She thought it looked pretty bad.
She drank a few clear liquids this morning and ate some jello.  This is her lunch.  But after all of that walking she was super tired.  You can see the cards on her right next to the tray. She insisted that they come with her to her new room so she could read them again.
We can now have flowers in her room!  These are from Jake and Kelci Cowdin, Steven's dear friend and wife.  They came and supported Steven for the first couple of days.
These are from the Fowlers.  Sister Fowler was a counselor in the Young Women when Mom was president a short while ago.  The Fowlers moved out of the ward and now live quite close to Ogden Regional.  She has visited us in the waiting room a couple of times.  There are more flowers, but because we couldn't bring them into her room in the ICU, not all of them are still at the hospital.
